Another Update.

So that stupid cyst?  It now has a twin.

I went in last week for my follow-up ultrasound and, not only did the original cyst not go away, it has a matching one right next to it.

They decided to go ahead and do surgery.  Boo.

I definitely didn’t take the news well.  I’ll admit that I was a complete basket-case for the rest of that day.  I was crying. I was bitchy.  I was feeling sorry for myself.

Why is it that I act that way when prayers aren’t answered the way I think they should be answered?

Jeremiah 29:11 put me at ease.  “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  It’s always a good reminder when I go into control-freak mode.

The surgery will be on December 1st.  Prayers will be greatly appreciated.

I’m so sorry to hear this Heather. It is certainly human reaction to want things our way, but God has a plan, and He’s in control. Many prayers and much love coming your way. *hugs*

well, either way, we still damned it to hell. so whatever.

God is bigger than a cyst or 2. or 5. there is nothing He has not already overcome. i love you.

i’m looking at the twin cysts as your bodies way of foreshadowing of twin babies. :) i love you. it will get better.

“God is near to the brokenhearted.” somewhere in psalms.

You definitely have been in my prayers and will continue to be. I’m osrry the news wasn’t what you wanted. I’ll continue to pray for your health and for precious little ones to add to your family. Thanks for sharing the verse – I needed to read it today. With the thyroid and lack of baby news here, I was feeling pretty low too. Thanks again for sharing.
