I would like to take a moment to introduce you to Maw Maw and Grandad.
They’re my dad’s parents and I absolutely adore them.
A wee bit of pasture separates their house from my parents. Because of this, I was blessed with lots and lots of time spent with them. All I had to do was crawl over two or three fences and, bam, I was on their front porch. {Yes, I can climb a fence}.
I would sit and eat Hershey Kisses with Grandad, and drink coffee topped with vanilla ice cream.
I would play restaurant with Maw Maw and remember that she would always order Eggs Benedict, which I thought was so funny and weird at the time. Now it’s one of my favorite breakfast eats.
Oh how I wish Arle could live closer to her grandparents.
Sigh…

I heart Maw Maw and Grandad!! I absolutely love that photo of them, too! I can attest to your fence-climbing ability. You were a pro. But as I recall they weren’t referred to as “Hershey Kisses” at the time. :) I agree with Kristin…move to Texas! All the cool kids are doing it.

I’m totally down with moving back to Texas. As long as we can open a Cajun Cones where ever we end up. And as long as I can wear cowboy boots with every outfit.
